A Thai automotive parts supplier required Stainless Steel Strip for manufacturing brackets, clips, and structural components used in vehicle assemblies. The application demanded high strength, good formability, and excellent fatigue resistance, as well as strict compliance with international automotive standards.
The customer emphasized the importance of material stability, as any variation could affect forming accuracy and final component performance. In addition, on-time delivery was critical to avoid disruptions in their automotive supply chain.
Based on the application requirements, we proposed SUS 301 and SUS 304 Stainless Steel Strip, with customized hardness and temper conditions to match different forming processes. Before confirming the order, the customer conducted forming tests and mechanical property evaluations on the supplied samples.
The test results exceeded expectations. The stainless steel strip showed uniform mechanical properties and excellent spring-back control, enabling precise forming of automotive components. After sample approval, the customer placed a long-term supply order with scheduled deliveries.
During production, we maintained close communication with the customer, providing production updates and shipment schedules. Strict inspections ensured consistency in thickness, width, and surface quality for each batch.
The buyer gave positive feedback, stating:
“Your stainless steel strip performs very well in our forming process. Quality consistency and delivery reliability are exactly what we need for automotive production. We appreciate your professional communication and quick technical support."
Following several successful shipments, the customer increased their purchasing volume and introduced our stainless steel strip into additional automotive component lines. This cooperation strengthened their production stability and reinforced our position as a trusted supplier in the Southeast Asian automotive industry.
