||
This acid resistant seamless stainless steel pipe is produced from 904L (1.4539) super austenitic stainless steel, a high-alloy material formulated to withstand strongly corrosive and acidic environments that overwhelm conventional 316 and 317 grades. With high nickel, chromium, and molybdenum content plus a deliberate copper addition, 904L offers outstanding resistance to sulfuric, phosphoric, and other reducing acids as well as chloride-induced pitting and crevice corrosion. The low carbon content minimizes the risk of intergranular attack after welding. Formed without a weld seam, the pipe delivers uniform strength, dependable leak-free performance, and a smooth internal surface. It is available in outer diameters from 6 mm to 813 mm with wall thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 60 mm in standard and custom cut lengths.

| Application | Chemical Processing |
The 904L seamless stainless steel pipe is the material of choice for chemical processing, acid production, fertilizer plants, and pharmaceutical manufacturing where ordinary stainless grades fail prematurely. It safely handles sulfuric acid in concentrations and temperatures that corrode 316 stainless, and it resists phosphoric acid, acetic acid, and other aggressive media used across the chemical industry. The alloy also performs well in seawater and brackish water systems, making it suitable for cooling lines and desalination equipment exposed to chloride attack. Its combination of acid resistance, weldability, and structural integrity makes it a cost-effective alternative to more expensive nickel alloys in many corrosive service applications.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach pipe is protected with plastic end caps and wrapped before being assembled into steel-strapped bundles or packed into seaworthy wooden cases for export. This packaging prevents surface damage and contamination during transit. Complete mill test certificates, including chemical composition, mechanical properties, and NDT reports, are provided with every order. Manufacturing is performed under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, with optional third-party inspection by SGS or BV to satisfy project specifications.
